Safety instructions for the use of candles
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Always place candles on a heat-resistant, stable and non-flammable surface.
- Keep a safe distance between burning candles (at least 10 cm / 4 inches).
- Do not use candles near flammable materials (e.g. curtains, decorations, paper).
- Avoid drafts to prevent dripping, sooting or uneven burning.
- Trim the wick to approx. 5–7 mm (¼ inch) before each lighting.
- Extinguish the candle when only 1 cm (½ inch) of wax remains.
- Do not use liquids to extinguish the candle.
- Do not move the candle while the wax is liquid.
